Please note the following when considering a Nubian Goat for sale. Hilltop Homestead of Colpoy’s Bay is a member in good standing with The Canadian Goat Society.
The Nubian Goat will be registered with The Canadian Goat Society. Our herd name is Hilltop Homestead. It will up to the new owner to complete the transfer of ownership documentation.

Registered Nubian Doelings starting at $600.
Registered Nubian Bucklings starting at $450.
Nubian Wethers starting at $300.
Please NOTE: Nubian Goats are herd animals and should ALWAYS have a goat companion.
- There is a 50% deposit required (non-refundable unless we cannot supply) to reserve a Nubian goat. Nubian goats are sold on a first-serve basis based on when the deposit received. If for some reason we decide not to sell the Nubian goat your deposit will be refunded. Full-payment is due prior to the animal leaving our property.
- We are not responsible for transportation of the goat, so please provide the necessary requirements.
- Immediately upon possession of the Nubian goat, the buyer takes full responsibility for the well-being and husbandry of the Nubian goat.
- We do our best with disbudding kids, but we CANNOT guarantee that they will not develop scurs.
- We do not offer breeding or stud services.
- We provide our does with 2nd cut high-grade hay, with a fine texture. Why alfalfa hay? It is higher in protein and ensures proper growth and milk supply.
- We also provide BOSS sunflower seeds, free choice minerals, free choice baking soda, and dairy ration grain.
Buyer Responsibilities
- The buyer agrees to accept the responsibilities for the transfer fees.
- The buyer should be prepared for all goat care including health and management. Please read OMAFRA – Goat Health & Biosecurity.
- Nubian Goats are sold on a “where is, as is” basis and guarantees the buyer that the said animal(s) are in good health, are free from injury or disease at the date of the sale.
- Housing, feed, and transportation should be researched and planned for ahead of time.
- If the buyer would like any veterinarian testing completed on the Nubian goat for sale it is the buyer’s financial responsibility.
- For bio-security reasons, we cannot have goats returned to our farm once they have left the property.
